Campaign Overview
The Sleeper Trilogy is an epic dark fantasy campaign adapted for GURPS. Across three connected adventures, heroes face escalating supernatural threats, twisted cultists, and the nightmare-touched reality of a Far Realm entity straining against its ancient bonds. Each part can be played independently, but together they form a complete narrative arc from investigation to cosmic confrontation.
Expect horror elements, investigation, tactical combat, and moral complexity. The campaign explores themes of forbidden knowledge, reality distortion, and the price of stopping forces beyond mortal comprehension.

Part 1: Sleeper in the Tomb of Dreams
When cultists steal sacred bones, heroes must brave the nightmare-haunted Tomb of Dreams to stop the Sleeper—an entity from beyond the stars.
Pilgrims transport sacred bones to perform a ritual meant to seal away a Far Realm entity for another century. When cultists ambush them and steal the relics, the heroes must give chase to the dark heart of the forest to the Tomb of Dreams, where a ritual is underway to awaken the Sleeper, an ancient being trapped between worlds. The tomb is a nightmare realm of cultists, deadly traps, and fears made real. Recover the bones, stop the ritual, and prevent madness from being unleashed upon the world.

Part 2: Nightcrawlers
Survivors, trapped underground after a cataclysm, must navigate dangerous tunnels, face alien creatures, and escape before light runs out and the depths consume them.
A dark fantasy sword-and-sorcery adventure with a chilling twist on the classic dungeon crawl. After a cataclysm shatters a great city, desperate survivors are trapped deep underground, cut off from the world above. In the ruins of a fallen civilization, they must navigate deadly tunnels, evade traps, and confront alien horrors lurking in the dark. As resources dwindle and sanity frays, the survivors must work together to survive, make hard choices, and find a way out before the darkness claims them.

Part 3: Dreaming Deep
Heroes must venture into a nightmare realm to destroy the ritual anchor before the Sleeper awakens. Face twisted cultists, living nightmares, and your deepest fears made real.
After narrowly escaping an earlier calamity, heroes learn the cult's ritual succeeded, opening a conduit to the nightmare realm where the Sleeper is imprisoned. As the entity nears awakening, a mysterious messenger reveals the only hope: enter the Sleeper's prison and destroy the ritual anchor sustaining the breach. The heroes must brave a surreal underworld of impossible geometry, living landscapes, and nightmares made real, facing twisted cult remnants and deadly manifestations of their deepest fears before time runs out and reality is unmade.
